Camping Asseiceira was the first approved campsite in the Marvão district, and is the closest in location to this amazing village and castle.  Camping Asseiceira has won numerous awards, and we have gained an enviable reputation.  Over 50% of our visitors are either returning guests, or they come here because of a recommendation by a previous guest.

Located just 8kms from the Spanish border, enabling you to use our facilities as a base to explore both the spectacular Northern Alentejo region of Portugal as well as Western Spain.

At Camping Asseiceira we provide a friendly and informal service. However you choose to stay with us, be it on our Campsite in a motor home, caravan or tent. Or in our accommodation or self catering facilities. We will do our best to ensure that you enjoy your stay.
